School of Fish

The acrylic tabletop balances cantilevered on bent strips of beechwood. The inspiration for this tatami table is a school of fish swimming just below the water level.

This tatami side table is a piece of modern furniture meant to bring a little reminder of nature into a space. Inspired by a school of fish swimming just below the water level, the table follows from the idea of organic convergence and visual lightness. The table is composed of a glass tabletop cantilevered on bent strips of beechwood.
